2024年6月のWindows Update（Windows Server）

最近確認しているWindows UpdateのServerOS版です。

不具合自体は確認していないのですが、適用するKBと適用してみた結果をご報告です。

更新プログラムに含まれた不具合が修正された

Windows ProのWindows Update<2024年6月のWindows Update - treedown’s Report>の際に触れましたが、以下のlsass.exeに発生していた不具合が解消されたバージョンとなるのが、2024年6月の更新プログラムのようです。

This update addresses an issue that affects lsass.exe. It leaks memory. This occurs during a Local Security Authority (Domain Policy) Remote Protocol (LSARPC) call.
この更新プログラムは、lsass.exe に影響する問題に対処します。メモリリークが発生します。これは、ローカルセキュリティ機関 (ドメインポリシー) リモートプロトコル (LSARPC) 呼び出し中に発生します。

で、内容を確認していましたが、Windows Server他バージョンでも同様の表記があることを確認しました。

他バージョンでの確認

Windows Server 2016の6月OS用累積更新プログラムは、KB5039214となります。

ここの「Improvements」で前述の「This update addresses an issue that affects lsass.exe. It stops responding. 」と「This update addresses an issue that affects lsass.exe. It leaks memory.」の記述を確認出来ました。

Windows Server 2022でも

ここのImprovementsは数が多いのですが、lsass.exeの改善が確認出来ます。ただWindows Server 2022では既知の問題が2件、前述のURLに記述があります。
Windows11と同様の問題（ユーザーアカウントのプロフィール写真を変更できなくなる可能性あり）の他にももう一件（Azure Synapse SQL Serverless Pool データベースが「回復保留中」状態になる問題）が提示されています。

ここでlsass.exeの改善が「機能追加」の欄に確認出来ました。

ひとまずテスト環境が中心ですが、これ以降でWindows Serverに2024年6月の累積更新プログラムを適用した記録です。
